A musician since the age of 5, Thill has always had a passion for the stage. Of French and Italian origins, many of his earlier years were spent in England, both in secondary school and then onto music college. While Thill started as an instrumentalist, singing allowed him to combine his passion for both music and theatre. During his degree at the Trinity College of Music, London, he also took part in The Knack, a course run by the ENO's Baylis Programme, as well as the two year Drama Course at The City Lit. After a year spent in New York working at the Castillo Theatre, Thill returned to France.
From Aeneas in Purcell's Dido and Aeneas to Demetrius in Britten's A Midsummer Night's Dream, from the Conte d'Almaviva in Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro to the Baron de Gondremarck in Offenbach's La Vie Parisienne, Adonis in Blow's Venus and Adonis to Toledo in Rivas' Aliados, Thill's diverse repertoire also includes sacred and chamber music.
